At the Neighbour Afternoon, we dive into neighbourhood community: warm, tricky, fun, and sometimes just awkward. With a twinkle in the eye, presenter Carolien Borgers guides you through it. There will be poetry by the poet Merel Steinweg from Baarn, a brand-new Wonderfeel text by Florian Debackere, also from Baarn, and music by the Viride String Quartet, percussionist Remco Menting, accordionist Dirk Overbeek and pianist Helena Basilova. Our neighbour from Hilversum, Sean Bogaers, will rap an ode to neighbourship. And of course, the legendary Buurvrouwenlied by Brigitte Kaandorp will be included - performed by soprano Karin Strobos. Come say hi to your Wonderfeel neighbours; it’ll be cozy and fun. And a little awkward. Just as it should be.
