About us
Listening and lazing
Wonderfeel is a three-day outdoor festival for classical music, but with a pop festival’s unconstrained atmosphere.

Wonderfeel is the biggest outdoor festival for classical music of Europe, with over 100 performances by more than 500 musicians, playing for almost 10,000 visitors over the course of 3 days.
The 60-acre nature reserve in ‘s-Graveland that is our home hosts seven Wonderfeel stages, all at a short walk’s distance. The diverse stages will satisfy your musical desires, from baroque to minimal, from classical hits to new and unique sounds, solo or symphonic, with touches of jazz, pop, and non-Western music. All of this played by world-class international musicians, whether new talents or old hands. Wonderfeel also hosts art disciplines that are part of the same world as (classical) music, such as dance, musical theater, poetry, literature, and musical documentaries. Walks through nature, yoga, and various activities for children make the program complete. Wonderfeel feels like a pop festival, thanks to its parallel programming, rolling kitchens, the sale of day tickets, and its camping site within walking distance of the festival grounds. This means the festival has a unique place among classical music festivals, and brings a new experience of classical music to the table.
Wonderfeel is a meeting place, where the audience can wander about, and curiously bump into new discoveries. This is made possible because individual performances don’t require separate tickets or reservations — there are no doors that will shut after the performance has begun. Musicians are free to try out new concepts and programs, and our programmers — who hunt the farthest corners of Europe and rely on a worldwide network — have every freedom to present relevant performances that match the various stages. Both musicians and programmers are not limited by the potential marketability of their ideas. Wonderfeel thus enables a relevant and unhindered hunt for the full range and vitality of (classical) music.
Wonderfeel actively cares about the world as a whole, and its own region specifically. We do so by prioritizing sustainability, both ecologically and within our organization, and sharing our knowledge in this field. We also organize activities on the topic of social sustainability, and want the festival to be accessible to young people and vulnerable populations. We also promote intercultural exchange by bringing international musicians together, initiating (international) coproductions, and collaborating with European colleagues.
In that context we are proud to announce that the first foreign spin-off will take place on August 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2021: Wonderfeel Helsinki.
