You thought Freddie Mercury had the monopoly over Bohemian Rhapsody? Then you forgot to consider Dvořák & Janáček. Mysterious and fairytale-like atmospheres straight out of the Bohemian woods take the centre stage. Like in Dvořák’s rhapsodic Dumky piano trio, in which melancholy and exhilarating Slavic dances battle with each other. Violinist Daniel Rowland, renowned for his ‘gripping musicianship’ (de Volkskrant), together with soulmates Maja Bogdanović and Natacha Kudritskaya, brings the Slavic soul to life.
