Following tradition, the Wonderfeel Festival Orchestra will mark the opening of this new edition. Due to the 1,5 metre’s distance rule, the setting will be XS this year. But no reason to be sad: in fact, there will be some absolute treasures for strings only! Such as Thin Air by Calliope Tsoupaki, which was composed for Wonderfeel last year and has now been specially arranged or string orchestra. The cherry on the cake will be Glazunov’s Saxophone Concerto, one of the first ever classical compositions for alto sax, brought back to life by Ties Mellema and his seductive range of colours.
