I’m (not) Every Woman is a musical story about sisterhood – including that between brothers and other kinds of relations – inspired by stories from female communities 'at the edge of the city, but at the heart of society'. Set to new music by the Iranian-Dutch composer Aftab Darvishi and using spoken word material by Rachel Rumai Diaz, soprano Aylin Sezer and the four string players explore the harmonious power of sisterhood, through the painful necessity of safe spaces, to a revolution that is rapidly swelling across the city.
