Singing cello When a cellist titles her debut CD Voice, you expect something special. And when you hear that she also plays and sings on Sheku Kanneh-Mason’s album Song – and that that inspiring collaboration will be continued – you know it will be. Hadewych van Gent started playing the cello when she was young, very young, and spent her musically formative years with Coosje Wijzenbeek’s Fancy Fiddlers. Today, you’ll hear Hadewych in all her voices, including in her vocal-instrumental arrangement of Ernst Reijseger’s Colla parte and in Grāmata čellam by the Latvian composer Pēteris Vasks.
Please note: starting next edition, Wonderfeel will no longer take place at Schaep en Burgh, but at Landgoed Groeneveld in Baarn. See our contact page for the address.
