Shishani is a ‘gentle warrior,’ unafraid to tackle substantial subjects gently yet with determination. Their voice, mystically light and powerfully emotional, pierces the heart of the listener deeply, carrying timeless messages. With roots in soul, indie, R&B, hiphop, and jazz, Shishani fuses the musical heritage of their birth country Namibia and that of their European home country. Shishani’s new album Whispers is a personal journey about learning how to listen to your inner voice. ‘Shishani gives us hope,’ says Richard Wagenaar. ‘Musically, a delight; so much elegance, expressive power, and emotion.’
Please note: starting next edition, Wonderfeel will no longer take place at Schaep en Burgh, but at Landgoed Groeneveld in Baarn. See our contact page for the address.
