With a Slovenian Twist Wonderfeel’s spotlight on the Western Balkan will launch you from one surprise to another. Take the Slovenian multi-percussionist Lola Mlačnik with her – in her own words – ‘beautiful music by dear friends.’ That’s how simple it can be. Strap in for the Dutch premieres of works by Matej Bonin, Drago Ivanuša, and Leon Firšt, who wrote new music especially for this performance. Lola also stretches out to Aperghis’ Le corps à corps for tombak and speaking percussionist, music by Juri Seo and Vivian Fung, and Raindrops Keep Fallin’ by Burt Bacharach, arranged for vibraphone.
Please note: starting next edition, Wonderfeel will no longer take place at Schaep en Burgh, but at Landgoed Groeneveld in Baarn. See our contact page for the address.
