Slagwerk Den Haag
Pepe Garcia, Joey Marijs, Frank Wienk, Niels Meliesfte - percussion
Do funghi have the potential to become radio antennas? What do amplified plants sound like and what’s buried under our feet? The Wonderfeel terrain forms an inspiration for Slagwerk Den Haag to create unique sounds – and whoever has heard them before will know that their favourite way to do that is surrounded by trees, where there is no path. With John Cage as fertile ground and using plant-based material and a sound installation, the percussionists of Slagwerk Den Haag enter into a dialogue with the forest.
The sound installation Finding Cage is open all day on Sunday and there are live performances at 11:45, 13:45, 15:45 en 17:45. Each performance lasts approximately 15 minutes.
