Nikola Meeuwsen – Chopin & Schumann
Travelling to Italy, where his teacher Enrico Pace lives, has been made impossible by Covid-19 for the talented Nikola Meeuwsen. But this 19-year-old pianist and winner of the Concertgebouw Young Talent Award 2019 won’t sit still. He released his debut CD in April 2020, as part of the talent programme ‘AVROTROS Klassiek presenteert!’ And today at Wonderfeel he will play Chopin’s Nocturnes Opus 15 No. 1 and Opus 27 No. 2, and Schumann’s First Piano Sonata Opus 11.
