Dialogues
In Dialogues, traditional Arabic percussion, drums, and electronics come together to create a new world. Grand soundscapes and intimate rhythmic moments alternate, the music is constantly in motion. Today, Modar Salama and Felix Schlarmann are joined by Romanian Alex Simu as a special guest. Simu is an internationally acclaimed clarinetist, founder of the world jazz ensemble Arifa, and winner of a Golden Calf for Best Film Music for Beyond Sleep. Together they dance between acoustic textures, electronic and analog effects, and Middle Eastern rhythms.
