Femke Smit sings Brazilian music as she she was born there. Maybe it was a previous life, maybe it’s purely coincidental, but when she sings this music she feels at home. With her quartet Cantorias, she sings close harmony inspired by the sound of the 70s and 80s: think Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque, Ivan Lins, and Milton Nascimento.
