Somewhere on the junction between pop and classical, the twin sisters Loes and Renée bring their own Dutch repertoire alongside their own unique version of a Schubert song, or the Flower Duet. Lively snippets of everyday life, meticulously and painstakingly expressed in song. A little melody saunters relentlessly out of a cello while Loes, with a light and almost apologetic sneer in her voice, strikes down a lover. The two play and sing together in a way that is intertwined like only shared genes can make possible. “Always Renée’s beautiful cello accompanying the velvety soft voice of her sister Loes,” the Volkskrant wrote with praise. Five stars!
Please note: starting next edition, Wonderfeel will no longer take place at Schaep en Burgh, but at Landgoed Groeneveld in Baarn. See our contact page for the address.
