The Dutch-Turkish soprano Aylin Sezer and the man we know predominantly as a conductor, but who leads another career as a vocal accompanist, have been working together regularly since 2019. They both have a love for opera – Sezer has performed with Opera Zuid and the Dutch National Opera, among others – but in the boradest possible sense: they are bringing arias by Mozart and Puccini as well as by Poulenc and Gershwin. Barber never wrote an opera, but the songs this duo has chosen don’t lack drama in the slightest.

What do the different stages entail?
At Wonderfeel we have the following stages: Het Veld, Het Weiland, De Bosplek, SOLO, De Schuur, Dichter onder de Boom, Het Dorp and Sound Bath. There are also some extra activities. You can find an overview of all stages here.
Is there kids’ programming?
Yes, on every festival day there is a program for kids, check out our Kids page for more information. And: entrance is free for children and youth up to 18 years! They do need an entrance ticket, which you can order through the ticketshop.
