“Music to reflect to, to mourn, to bury, to heal and to find inner peace, strength and hope in.” In short, music which was composed for everyone affected by the pandemic. Huang Ruo, already warmly received in 2015 as composer in residence at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, wrote A Dust in Time as an introverted passacaglia in which the strings do not let each other go for even one moment. Asko|Schönberg leads us back to the light in this premiere.
