Rain and mist in an eerie mountain valley, or Ti’afa’a. The title aptly captures the atmosphere of Tahitian nature in in Reza Namavar’s poetic composition written for the Young Pianist Foundation, where Thomas Beijer has been the artistic director for years. For his impressionistic Wonderfeel programme, he lets himself be fully inspired by nature. Claude Debussy is a given, but we will also hear several small works by Erik Satie, such as Embryons desséchés, a wondrous ode to three small sea creatures.
