The Paddington Trio consists of Finnish violinist Tuulia Hero, Irish cellist Patrick Moriarty, and American pianist Stephanie Tang. And just like the famous bear, they have chosen London as their home base. From there, they strive to win over eager new ears for the most beautiful music with their “colorful energy and exuberant vitality” (The Strad). Today they combine the “inexhaustible genius” of Haydn with Ravel’s Piano Trio, infused with the Basque colors of his homeland. Between these two deceased heroes, the dreamy music of the very much alive Swedish composer Andrea Tarrodi resonates. A discovery!
