Neo-Fanfare 9×13 & Amsterdam Tram Harmony
Parade
"A kind of surrealism," is how the French poet Guillaume Apollinaire described the ballet Parade, even before the term became an artistic movement. In 1917, this spicy cocktail of street entertainment and high art caused a scandal, but also a revolution. After all, sacred cows are there to be kicked, just as the neo-fanfare group 9×13 has been doing for years at Wonderfeel. In their own chaotic Parade , they celebrate art, music, and inspiration, this time together with a traditional fanfare band, namely the Amsterdam Tramharmonie. In that wonderful Dutch tradition of creating something beautiful together, simply because it’s fun. Come see it, come see it!
