What is the meaning of sound? Accordeonist Mario Batkovic dedicated his newest album Introspectio, consisting of his own compositions, to this question. Batkovic took his avant-garde accordeon sound onstage at festivals such as Le Guess Who? and Into The Great Wide Open, challenging and hypnotising the audience with the unexpected range of possibilities of his instrument.
