In conversation with Jeroen Olyslaegers
Jeroen Olyslaegers (1967) is a Flemish writer of novels, columns, and plays. He made his debut in 1994 with Navel and achieved international recognition with the novel Wil (2016), a poignant story about guilt and collaboration in occupied Antwerp, which was awarded the Fintro Literature Prize, the Confituur Bookstore Prize, and the F. Bordewijk Prize, among others. This was followed by, among other works, the historical novel Wildevrouw (2020).

In addition to his appearance at De BoekenBar, Jeroen Olyslaegers can also be heard as an author and narrator in Le carnaval des animaux by Camille Saint-Saëns, performed by the Flanders Symphony Orchestra on the Het Veld stage
