Sladjana Labović and Jip van den Toorn on how to change the world with books

We are honoured to welcome cartoonist and illustrator Jip van der Toorn as our festival thinker. Her work has been featured in the Volkskrant, Parool, Vrij Nederland and the VPRO Guide. Her book 'Crisis' was published by publisher Podium at the end of 2022. Jip can currently be seen on TV as a contestant on the current season of Wie is de Mol. During Wonderfeel 2024, she will fill a slot each day with her view of the world.  

Sladjana Labović worked as an editor at TV shows Pauw & Witteman and De Wereld Draait Door. From the hectic television world, she switched to the world of books in 2015, where she is currently working as a publisher at Podium. She herself wrote the book we're not going home yet - guest worker children about their childhood.
