FEAR NO MORE 
Countertenor Arturo den Hartog is many things. He was born in Suriname, was one of the first students of the Cathedral Choir School in Paramaribo, continued his studies in The Hague, and to this day is closely connected to the people and music of his birth country: all of this is audible in his performances. Together with Daan Boertien, with whom he recently made is Concertgebouw debut, he casts a light on Aaron Copland, Gerald Finzi and the fantastic Belize-born British composer Errollyn Wallen. On top of that, Max Knigge has arranged some songs from Suriname which Arturo can’t not share with the audience!
