Het verbijsterende album Trout Mask Replica uit 1969 is aanleiding voor dit hommage aan Captain Beefheart. De muziek was toen te extreem voor een groot publiek, maar de hoekige poëzie van zowel taal als muziek klinkt nu nog net zo prikkelend. Rosa tekent voor de brutaal gearrangeerde muziek: bluesrock, psychedelica en ontspoorde punk. En Hans Dagelet – grommend, sissend en spugend – ís Captain Beefheart. Gaat dat zien!

Is there kids’ programming?
Yes, on every festival day there is a program for kids, check out our Kids page for more information. And: entrance is free for children and youth up to 18 years! They do need an entrance ticket, which you can order through the ticketshop.
