'Poppenkast is slapstick', zegt Egon Adel, vaste bespeler van de Poppenkast op de Dam. Speciaal voor Wonderfeel maakte hij een voorstelling in de traditie van dit eeuwenoude volkstheater, waarin de immer luie Jan Klaassen, de eeuwig mopperende Katrijn en de onvermijdelijke slechterik als altijd de show stelen.

What do the different stages entail?
At Wonderfeel we have the following stages: Het Veld, Het Bos, Het Nest, De Stek, De Boekenbar and Het Dorp. You can find an overview of all stages here.
Is there kids’ programming?
Yes, on every festival day there is a program for kids, check out our Kids page for more information. And: entrance is free for children and youth up to 18 years! They do need an entrance ticket, which you can order through the ticketshop.
