Een Friese saxofoniste en een pianiste van Spaanse komaf storten zich eendrachtig op Zuid-Europese muziek. Femke IJlstra en Celia García-García kennen elkaar van het Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest. Met noordelijke nuchterheid en Iberisch temperament brengen ze hits van Ravel, De Falla en Milhaud. ‘Samen fluisteren, huilen, dansen, dromen en zingen bij het warme avondlicht’, noemen ze het zelf. Zon of geen zon, in het Weeshuis zal het zomer zijn.

Is there kids’ programming?
Yes, on every festival day there is a program for kids, check out our Kids page for more information. And: entrance is free for children and youth up to 18 years! They do need an entrance ticket, which you can order through the ticketshop.
