At a festival in the middle of nature, sustainable measures to preserve the same nature are only logical. We therefore use recycled materials as much as possible for the decoration of our festival. In addition, our program booklet is waterless offset printed with vegetable-based ink and we only use recycled paper for our flyers and posters. In 2018, we took further steps towards a more sustainable Wonderfeel: all generators ran on biodiesel, the energy from Green Batteries was used at night, our VIP caterer cooked 100% organically, there was a free water point at Het Veld where people could use their bottles. were able to refill, we used electric cars to transport artists and our caterer cooked every day with leftovers from the food trucks and organic vegetables and herbs from the local vegetable gardens Jagtlust and Stadzigt in combination Natural monuments. In 2019 we introduced our composting machine. Cups and disposable tableware made from sugar cane and wood products, together with the food scraps, end up in this machine, where the heat, a grinder and a bacterial culture set to work and convert it into high-quality compost within 24 hours. For a voluntary contribution, guests can take home a bag of compost.
